Gratitude journal
three good things

Teapots

You need a bit of colour in what sometimes seems to be a rather colourless world.

Coincidentally, we also needed a new small tea pot to replace our long serving Arran teapot, sadly no longer with us.

Fortunately, I found this, for which we are very grateful (it also makes a great cup of Yorkshire tea and snuggles nicely into our Africa elephant to keep warm).

Our more august and formal Whittard teapot, a present from a friend many years ago for whom I composed the thank you card below, carries on regardless, even though it lost the top of its lid the other day.

Thank you for reading this little bit of inconsequential insignificance, which I hope provides a bit of light relief from Brexit et al.

A Gratitude Journal is just a simple way of
recording and appreciating the good things in life.

Research shows that keeping a gratitude journal leads to
higher levels of alertness, happiness and positive emotions as well as
a stronger immune system, lower blood pressure and better sleep.
