Gratitude journal
three good things

Young Money

Very grateful for the opportunity to coach around fifty 16-17 year olds on how to understand and manage their money today. Four hour long workshops was a bit of a handful. However, I was deeply impressed by the enthusiasm of the students, their willingness to learn and their participation.

I hope they found it useful. I’ll be seeing many of them in Lourdes in a few weeks time, so will hopefully get some feedback then.

A visit to the Ampleforth Development office afterwards was a useful catch-up. Delighted to hear about the energy the team are putting in to events and communications over the next couple of years.

Grateful for an hour’s solitude this evening whilst everyone else was out at yoga and target rifle. A much needed restorative niche, to quote Susan Cain.

A Gratitude Journal is just a simple way of
recording and appreciating the good things in life.

Research shows that keeping a gratitude journal leads to
higher levels of alertness, happiness and positive emotions as well as
a stronger immune system, lower blood pressure and better sleep.
